Tim White speaks to the crowd at the IREA Senior Luncheon after being presented the Rotary Person of the Year award by the Rotary Club of Castle Rock President Elaine Love.
 
Tim White has been named as the Person of the Year by the Rotary Clubs of Castle Rock. Club President Elaine Love made the presentation Dec. 12 at the county-wide Senior Luncheon sponsored by Intermountain Rural Electric Association, where White is on the board of directors. White was honored by the High Noon Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Castle Rock for his community service. He is Chairman of the Board of White Construction Group in Castle Rock and has served on many boards of local and regional groups. He also has served on the Town of Castle Rock boards and council and was once the mayor of Castle Rock. He also has served on the Board of the Douglas County School District. Love said White's inclusive management style has allowed him to expand his business and has spread a positive influence in the community of Castle Rock. She said he also has become a respected business professional throughout Colorado. He was named Castle Rock Citizen of the Year in 2008 and Castle Rock Business Person of the year in 2001. White told the crowd that it is the people who make serving business and the community "a great experience."
